OUR STORY

It's no secret that LG Hyatt started the band to have some fun and play music with his fiddle-playing wife Allison Hyatt  In 2017, it was the perfect time to combine Allison's fiddle prowess with his love of singing and strumming out country music...the foundation for a rockin country band.

Over the next several years, the band met some of the best people and grew a loyal following in the Sacramento and Placer County areas as they continued to win over audiences.  Today's North Forty also features Grass Valley phenom and Nashville recording artist Kerina Kinch, lead and backup vocal artist Stephanie Black, Lead Guitarist Dave Karacozoff, Bassist Greg Hawkins, and Drummer Mr. Louis ("iPlayWithSticks").

North Forty plays about 25 high-energy shows per year and covers over 35 country artists including Luke Combs, Jason Aldean, Luke Bryan, George Strait, Carrie Underwood, Garth Brooks, Miranda Lambert, Charlie Daniels, Gretchen Wilson; and is always adding new country radio hits along with classic rock and country favorites.  Of course they rock "If You're Gonna Play in Texas, You Gotta Have a Fiddle in the Band," and "The Devil Went Down to Georgia."  North Forty throws in a few rock hits like "Shook Me All Night Long," "Pour Some Sugar on Me,", and "Don't Stop Believing."
